New Life has begun
I met lady on Oasis in January 2011, we basically clicked from the first meeting, we got engaged in June 2011, and we are getting married in April 2012.
I would like to say a big thank you to Oasis as my life has changed and is now very enjoyable with a future to look forward to with a very lovely lady. Thank You!

Well where to begin I met my current boyfriend on Oasis and have been in a very happy relationship for 3 months now even though it seems much longer. We click so well we really are two peas in a pod.
My advice is there is no harm just giving anything a go, I tried a few dating web sites and found a few dates don’t always go to plan. But within 5 minutes of meeting him I knew I really liked him and luckily he felt the same.
I used to think dating sites where for people older than myself but seeing how many people of such variety and ages where on these sites amazed me as I was having such bad luck with men generally. Just persevere with it you'll find that other person who is right for you and wants to be with you for the rest of their life. I was lucky mine was only 14 miles down the road.

I couldn't believe it!
I came onto this site after a friend’s advice. As we were browsing a name caught my eye. I contacted him and we started chatting, there was a spark which compelled me to login every evening to continue our chat, I couldn't believe how at ease we felt with each another.
I don't usually chat unless there are pictures but this didn't make any difference. We first met up and the laughter and chat continued that was in November and we are now in a happy relationship getting to know one another.
The greatest feeling!
I am writing to say thank you so very, very much for bringing my wife to be and I together. On Boxing Day I proposed to her and she accepted, bestowing upon me the greatest honour and privilege of becoming her husband.
We met on through your site and I feel it fitting to tell you our story so far.......
Our story begins one night in April last year, I hadn’t been a member of Oasis for very long, yet woke up just gone midnight with an unexplained urge to log on. I came across a profile that stood out, her profile picture was stunning and we shared many interests. I sent her a request and within minutes she had accepted. We started talking online and had an instant connection. Considering the time of night, we only talked for about an hour but organised to talk the following evening.
As planned we spoke the following night and the excitement I felt when I logged on and she was there was immense. This carried on for a couple of weeks, we kept sending flirts and funny messages to each other when offline and things got quite serious very quickly. She was on my mind all day every day. I couldn’t concentrate on work and all I wanted to do was meet her. We kept trying to arrange to meet but we lived 50 miles apart and both had things planned in our diaries. It worked out that we would have to wait until late May before we could finally meet and that was over a month away.
Within a week of chatting on the phone, we both knew how we felt. The connection we had was so strong, and yet we both felt we were getting carried away with ourselves. It was quite scary how deep our feelings were despite never actually meeting. One night came and I couldn’t contain my feelings anymore, I had to tell her how I felt. I said the three words I had been feeling for a while, and whilst I was so nervous in saying it, not wanting to scare her off as we had known each other for so little time, I could not deny my emotions. “I love you”, I said. There was only a pause for about one second, but it felt like an eternity on the phone. She replied, “I love you too”. The nerves I had, the butterflies in my stomach vanished instantly and were replaced with sheer joy.
We both closed our Oasis accounts down and we spoke about how good it felt choosing the reason why we closed our account down being that we had met someone.
Having told each other how we felt, it was now impossible to wait until the end of May before we could meet. Luckily enough my Easter plans had been cancelled so we decided to meet then.
When I arrived, I parked up and she met me on the street outside her house. My arms were full with bags of clothes and it looked like I had come home from the army. As we approached each other I dropped all my bags on the pavement and we kissed passionately like we had been together for years.
We have only been apart one night ever since. Within a few weeks we were talking about me moving in, and I was very conscious of how the kids would react. I had grown close to them during that time, but I wanted them to want me to move in before I did. A few days later, totally out of the blue her daughter asked me when I was moving in. I asked her whether she would be happy with that, and she said yes, explaining that she had never seen her mum so happy and that she liked me.
I knew the commute to work every day would be tiring, but I knew it’d be worth it. By July I had moved in totally and started my new life, with a new role as a father too. I had always wanted to be a dad, and I now had this family life I had always craved. I had never been happier.
The proposal was a big secret, yet all her friends and family knew all about it. I proposed on Boxing Day, with the ring hidden in a Christmas cracker and she accepted. We are planning to marry in the summer.
So thanks again Oasis, I have met the most beautiful, caring, kind, and loving woman and looking forward to spending the rest of my life with her.
