I recently met my boyfriend on Oasis, It was really scary at first for me as I have never done anything like this before and being very shy doesn’t help!
This was my only chance to find love..and I did! This site has brought me so much happiness and joy, I am very thankful I joined.

In 2009, after ending a 3 year relationship with my son's father I joined Oasis to get back in the socialising pool. I spoke to quite a few people who turned out to be less than impressive, and after all the wrong things.
I was about ready to give up when I started speaking to an Army member from my area. We clicked and became good friends. Went out a few times for drinks and after a while decided to start dating.
The moment I knew he was right was when my son met him for the first time, and ran up to hold his hand as he walked. It brought tears to my eyes, knowing how fussy my son usually is with people.
We've been together ever since, we're engaged, and we're now expecting a child together. I could not have dreamed of being as happy as I am now.

In 2008, I had just moved to a new suburb were I did not know anyone and my sister and best friend convinced me to come on Oasis to make friends with the locals which was the best thing I have ever done!!
This is where I started talking to a lot of people but one stood out from the rest. We started talking every day and few months later decided to go on our first date from that day we couldn’t stop talking. I honestly believe that love comes to you when you're least expecting it.
Now almost 3 years later we are as strong as ever, we have travelled the world together and grown so much as a couple, we are getting married and expecting our first child!
Internet dating isn’t for everyone but I just want people to give it a try, I had never done anything like this before but honestly If it wasn’t for joining Oasis I would never have met my fiancé and I would never be this happy.

I always had the worst luck with men. They seemed perfect, and then would break my heart, every single time.
I joined Oasis as a way to meet new people, as I don't have the confidence to just go and talk to strangers without liquid confidence.
I started talking to my now boyfriend, and he was cute, way out of my league, we exchanged numbers and started messaging and talking on a regular basis, moving up to talking everyday..
I finally worked up the courage to call him (again because of some liquid courage) and we spent an amazing amount of time talking.
I found the love of my life because of this site, and I'm not naive to think we will last forever, but I'd like to think I found the person I'm going to marry, and I know he feels the same way.
