Fell in love trying to help a broken heart.
After ending a five year long relationship my best friend pressured me into joining oasis.
I basically joined it for a laugh not expecting anything.
I chatted to a few guys who were after all the wrong things, then exactly a month after my 22nd birthday I came across a guy who seemed decent and more normal then the others so we exchanged numbers.
Funnily enough this guy was going through a bad break up and wanted some advice on how to get his ex back so I became his helper. We spoke for ages on the phone, and then once we met we clicked instantly and became close friends.
We spent every weekend together since then, but then he went on a holiday overseas for a month, in that month he texted me a few times and I called him whenever I could. I started to miss him more and more each day, but was scared to say anything in case he didn't feel the same.
When he came back from his holiday he came to see me, he held my hands and kissed me and told me that he missed me every day and that for a while he wanted to tell me that he had fallen for me...since that day we haven't looked back and we have been together for almost three years and I cannot wait to see what's next for us...
(oh and thank god his ex didn’t take him back)...Thanks Oasis for helping me find my angel :)

My marriage broke down and after spending 9 months feeling sorry for myself I decided to start looking for a new someone special online.
I met a few ladies, all of which had no potential, but that all changed. I found a girl who lived in the same suburb as me and after a week of chatting we decided to meet for a drink.
The chemistry was almost instant, we spent 2 hours talking and we kissed in the car park as we left. That was two weeks ago, and since then we have met each other’s families and have fallen madly in love. We both believe we have found our soul mate, our love is that obvious that her grandmother said the other day that she could see that we were soul mates and meant for each other.
I wish I could have met this wonderful person 10 years ago and had all those years of happiness that we have had in the last 15 days.
We are moving at our pace, a day can't go by without us seeing each other and the positive feeling and love is growing by the day and I hope this feeling never goes away and continues to get stronger and stronger.
I knew it was love before we met...
After a bad relationship ended, I decided to get back on Oasis Active. I just wanted to start chatting to men again and get back my confidence.
I chatted with many nice men and I had a few brief encounters, then I started chatting with a lovely man that I thought would make a great friend. Not thinking further than that, we kept chatting and found we had heaps in common.
The one thing that really drew me to him is that he didn’t talk dirty like many others tend to do. They think it's a turn-on but fellas; women don't like dirty talk when getting to know someone!
We lived in different states of Australia and I didn't know if we would ever meet. That Christmas, we met and spent a week together and we have been together ever since. We have now been together for just over 2 years and recently become engaged to married next October 2012. I love this man to bits. He ticks all the boxes. Thanks Oasis Active.
It really works!
After coming from another site that even charged you for picking up scammers, I gave up - not meant to be.
Then I saw an advert on the telly and thought 'give it a go, nothing will happen anyway!' Wow the responses were amazing and I hit it off with 2 very charming lovely genuine gentleman.
Within 3 days I had 2 wedding proposals. Now what are the chances of that? Really, One I accepted as it was love at first sight. We couldn’t be happier even though we are in infancy stage. It is a love we both know will last.

I pledge to you.... for now and forever
My Husband and I have been married for 2 weeks now after the most beautiful wedding ceremony we could have ever imagined... and I keep thinking I can't believe we met on Oasis!
He was on Oasis to find his one true love and I was just having some fun and meeting new friends. Having 4 little children to raise alone... late night conversations on Oasis, were really my only link to the outside world and when I had a night off there were people to go out with. My life became full of excitement... My friends interested and single friends also joining. I met lots of fabulous people, many I still have contact with.
However somewhere in the mix I had a lovely conversation with a man and exchanged our phone numbers. We never spoke again on Oasis but left messages for each other and also sent random text messages... 6 months later we met!! We organised a date that was in 2 weeks and texted and spoke endlessly in that time. We met at a restaurant and just clicked. It was romantic and so wonderful that I didn’t leave until the next day.
We planned another date in 2 weeks’ time and had less contact between these dates but when we met again at the same restaurant... There was no turning back... We dated and talked and slowly met each other’s families... And 11 months later in August 2011 He proposed and moved in with me and my children.
2 months of bliss, we decided to bump the wedding forward 10 months and get married before the end of 2011. We could not be happier. 15 months from our first meeting and we have not had an argument... And don’t plan to either!!!
