Happy, Married and have a Baby :-)
Well I went on oasis to meet new people and to see what happened.
Then one day, I was off work and decided to see what was happening online when I started talking to a really nice guy. We ended up chatting for hours and felt that instant connection.
We swapped phone numbers before going offline, and then started texting each other straight away.
We were both keen to meet and since then we haven’t looked back... We have been happily married now for six months!
I don’t think I would of met him if it wasn’t for Oasis...
We Got Married!
To be honest I only joined Oasis because my sister in law talked me into it. I didn't for a second think I would find my Mr right on here though, thought I’d maybe go on a few dates.
We had started talking and within a week he had closed his account which indicated to me he wasn’t looking elsewhere. We have been inseparable ever since.
We got married just this Friday gone 26/8/2011. He is everything I was searching for but didn’t think I’d find. So with much Thanks to my sister for convincing me that this dating site was OK,
I now want to Thank you Oasis because without you I would never have met and married my dream partner!
Country Girl meets Romantic Geek
After numerous encounters with guys who would only let me down and lead me to wanting to deactivate my account for good, I took one last look at the singles who looked even the slightest bit closest to what I wanted and out of the blue, staring right at my screen was this gorgeous 20 year old man, with killer blue eyes and the cheekiest smile...
I sent him a request, not thinking much of it. Suddenly I get a "Hello there", that's all it took for me to instantly want to get to know him, many hours later we talked on facebook and skype, I was soon falling for this amazing guy, he's full of life!
He loves to travel and so do I, he's the big soft geeky guy, always smiling and willing to give anyone the shirt off his back.... Next thing I knew I was telling him I loved him, thinking I've totally scared him away but surprisingly he admitted he felt the same way....
All that ran through my mind was how this work would, I'm from Qld, he's from SA but I agreed on going to Bali with him but then realizing I couldn't because of family and work commitments... I told him we have a lifetime to go to Bali and travel the world, I plan on moving to SA with the new year to be with him, we both feel that we can’t live without one another and would love nothing more than to be together, we're young and in love.
It's not stupid, if you really believe you can be with someone then go for it, I was about to give up on love and men before the love of my life came along, and now I'm the happiest I've ever been.....
So thank you Oasis for helping me find the man of my dreams.
The One For Me!
After being on Oasis for over two years, I had my ups and downs with the guys on here but have ended up with some good friendships.
My last go at it, and I met the man of my dreams after 12 months of dating then living together, I asked him to marry me, and we are planning the wedding for October next year.
I have done a lot of living since meeting willos05, we share a lot of common interests like going out in our forby and playing in the mud.
Life does begin at 50 when you find the one you love

I was on Oasis on and off for ages, trying to find the man of my dreams.... I was 36 years old and almost giving up hope of finding that special person that would make my life complete.
I had just deleted my profile after sifting through hundreds of losers, and then I decided to give it one more try... and the first guy that I chatted to seemed almost normal, almost nice.... almost perfect!
And he then confided in me that I was the first girl he had decided to chat to. And then it happened! We decided to meet... and it was love at first sight.
The night we met, we didn't even want to kiss... we were both so scared we were going to jinx the magic, but as we said goodnight, I kissed him...and we never looked back.
Within a year, we were married. We both never thought we would ever meet such wonderful, perfectly matched, and lifelong partners. We certainly never expected to meet on an online dating service.
But we did...and we will forever be grateful for Oasis.
